Setting Out
- Our engineers have experience in the setting out of Steelwork, Glulam Timber, Concrete, Cladding, Glazing, Curtain-walling and more.
- Establishment of Datums, Levels & Grid Lines.
- We mark and stake key locations on-site, including Foundations,Column positions, and other critical components. This ensures that all elements of the construction are accurately placed and aligned with the design drawings.
- Our team continuously monitors and verifies measurements during the construction process, ensuring the alignment and levels remain consistent. We make adjustments as needed to keep the project on track and prevent errors.
Site Surveys
- Pre-start site survey of holding down bolts and concrete levels.
- Survey embedment plates which give all the dimensions required so fin plates can be cut to the right length, correctly positioned and welded to the embedment plate.
- Survey the erected steelwork for plumb, line & level and then supervise the repositioning if required to ensure that the steelwork is within the tolerances set out in the national steelwork specification.
- Surveys for pre-cast concrete stairs, panels and edge trim.
- We conduct comprehensive site surveys for existing buildings, helping draughtsmen and structural engineers to design efficient extensions.
- Plot the survey results directly on to DWG type drawings to produce accurate professional “as built drawings” that can then be submitted for handover to the main contractor.
